I fell in love with building things that run across machines before I fully understood what distributed systems meant.
Early days
Started with Solidity and smart contracts, then realized the interesting problems lived one layer below — how do you make on-chain events useful in real time? How do you build systems that don't fall over when volume spikes? That curiosity pulled me toward Go, Rust, and backend infrastructure.
DeFi years
Spent four years around DeFi and on-chain systems — from marketplace infrastructure at Alive.house, to underwriting protocols at Qiro.fi, and protocol architecture at Caddy Finance.
What I like building
Distributed systems, event pipelines, and things that feel a little too ambitious for a side project. I read research papers and tech blogs, then try to build simplified versions to understand them. LinkCollect started as a bookmark tool and grew to thousands of users. NearTalk was an experiment in anonymous proximity chat.
Now
These days I'm open and actively looking for freelance, contract, and full-time roles where I can build protocol smart contracts, distributed systems, and backend infrastructure. Still shipping side projects, still learning systems by rebuilding them, still reading papers at 2am.
How does magic work? You write the right words in the right order and something appears on screen that wasn't there before. Programming is the closest thing to that.
